AWAS! Kerja! Kerja!
Back from Malaysia... and almost recovered from jetlag. We'll see how these next couple of days go.
There's a lot of little neat things to tell so i'll just stick the ones that are on top of my head:
everything's dirt cheap. $7 CAD feeds a family of 5... at dinner. Breakfast was 0.30 cents one day.
Kuala Lumpur is a huge city with crazy drivers... maybe even worse than Montreal.
got myself a cool digicam, Casio Exilim ex-z750.
went to Sabah/Borneo and visited relatives and my dad's home town, Kota Kinabalu, and my mom's hometown Tenom. Both beautiful cities with lots of culture.
visited my grandparents at their nursing home... i found myself both happy and sad...
visited an island off the coast of KK, beautiful, warm waters, crystal clear... sea cucumbers are some of the most disgusting things i've ever poked with a stick... and i actually saw one take a dump.
visited the Mt. Kinabalu national park, but didn't have time to climb it... maybe next time.
The island of Redang is the most beautiful resort experience i've ever had. Went Snorkeling in a Marine Park and the open sea... i wish i could have taken pictures. I saw Nemo!
with all the traveling, i got to know my iPod a lot more... here are my Top 5 Favorite albums of the moment:

i found out what my dad's job is... he's the regional director of eBuilders, a wireless broadband internet service provider. Pretty cool, i must say... but sad that i didn't know that until i went to malaysia.
i took a dump in the squating stall... rinsed my ass with a hose... a very awkward experience that gave me surprisingly mixed emotions. On one hand it was very weird, wet, and i wasn't sure if the hose was clean... on the other hand, i felt refreshingly clean like i've never felt after a dump before. It makes me wonder how clean we really are by just wiping.
So those are just a couple notes from a great trip... hopefully i'll set up an image station account and post some pictures. My brother took some really nice ones... for now, it's back to reality.

glad to hear you had a great trip. if you really want, just drag your garden hose into your washroom and recreate malaysia -- at home!
